We’re working on a range of projects designed to enhance school life and create more opportunities for the children of Haytor View. Some projects are already underway, while others are at the planning or fundraising stage. We’ll update this page as projects develop and funding is secured. 

We’re developing plans to expand outdoor learning opportunities at Haytor View, giving children more opportunities to learn, explore and spend time outdoors. We’re currently exploring funding for resources including outdoor seating, waterproof clothing, storage and forest school training for staff. Further details will be added as the project develops. 

We’re exploring funding for a sensory and regulation space that can provide children with a calm, supportive environment when they need help to regulate and feel ready to learn. We’re looking at resources including sensory equipment, quiet spaces, communication tools and other practical items to support different needs. 

We want to help provide children with opportunities to learn beyond the classroom through educational visits, trips, workshops and special experiences. We’re exploring ways to support the cost of these opportunities and make them accessible to as many children as possible. 

We want children to have opportunities to enjoy music, performance, creative activities and enrichment experiences alongside their everyday learning. We’re exploring funding and partnerships that can help bring exciting activities and experiences into school. 

We support the school with resources and equipment that enhance everyday learning and school life. We’re always looking at ways to help provide practical resources that benefit children across the school and nursery, from classroom essentials to equipment for activities and shared spaces. 

Our projects will develop over time as we secure funding, gather support and work with the school and our community. We’ll use this page to share progress, celebrate what has been achieved and let families know what we’re working towards next.
